Fundraising...
Hello Y'all!
Just a quick note to get everyone up to speed on
this years' fundraising requirements!
After a successful year last season, we were able
to achieve a long awaited goal of buying NEW JERSEYS for our girls of Leduc
Ringette! We are anxiously awaiting them & hopefully they will be in
our hands before October 15th! Great job everyone!
Due to our fundraising success last year, we have
decided to run with the same type & cost of fundraiser again this year.
We will again issue you $100 worth of raffle tickets that the winner will have
the choice of a gift certificate to Leduc-based merchants & you will have
the opportunity to sell the tickets & recoup your fundraising money.
To that end, we will be requesting $100 per player
for fundraising costs. Some of you may have already paid $50 towards
your $100 requirement when you signed up your daughter for this season.
Our Fundraising Committee
will asking you soon (via email and/or your Team Manager) to issue
another $50 cheque payable to the Leduc Ringette Association. Please indicate
"fundraiser" on your cheque, and post date it until November 1/07.
The Fundraising Committee will be contacting you
within the next 2 weeks to complete this essential part of our ringette
success!
