The U7 program is for kids 6 and under, who
want to learn the basics of ringette. It is designed to teach
children the skills of skating and the basic principles of ringette,
without any of the pressures of games and tournaments. It is a 6
week program that places emphasis on fun, fitness, and team play.
Two sessions will be offered. The
first session will be held in early fall with a total cost of
$100.00. Parents will not have any fundraising or volunteer
expectations placed on them unless they wish to participate. If the
child wishes to continue with a second session (date TBA), the cost will
be reduced to $50.00. Note: Either session can be the childs first
session.
Leduc Ringette has equipment rental
packages available on a first-come, first-served basis. The
participant will be required to supply their own skates and helmut with
mask. Most of the remaining equipment is included in the rental
package.
