Help create the experiences that athletes and families will remember long after the season ends.

The Leduc Ringette Association is now recruiting Team Managers for the 2026-2027 season.

Team Managers play an essential role in every team's success by supporting coaches, coordinating communication, and helping keep the season running smoothly. Whether you're a returning manager or volunteering for the first time, we'd love to have you join our team.

What Does a Team Manager Do?

Every team is a little different, but Team Managers typically help with:

  • Keeping families informed throughout the season
  • Coordinating tournament applications, team events and activities
  • Managing team information in RAMP Gamesheets
  • Coordinating minor officials for box duties and team logistics
  • Supporting coaches with the administrative side of the season
  • Helping create a positive, organized experience for everyone involved

Team Managers and Coaches work as partners throughout the season - one leading on the ice, the other helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

Why Become a Team Manager?

Being a Team Manager is one of the best ways to become part of the Jaguars community.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Build lasting friendships with athletes, families, and volunteers
  • Be part of every milestone, tournament, and celebration
  • Help create memorable experiences for young athletes
  • Develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Make a meaningful impact on your team's season

Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where athletes can focus on learning, growing, and having fun.

Who Can Apply?

We're looking for positive, organized people who enjoy working with others and want to make a difference.

Whether you're a parent, guardian, returning manager, or brand-new volunteer, we'd love to have you join our team.

No previous ringette or Team Manager experience is required.

Training & Support

You won't be doing it alone.

The Leduc Ringette Association provides training, resources, and ongoing support throughout the season. Team Managers are also supported by experienced volunteers and our Manager Coordinator whenever questions arise.

Team Managers may also be required to complete applicable Ringette Alberta requirements, such as Respect in Sport (Activity Leader) and a Criminal Record Check.
